Introduction pt2 17 Jan 2010 1:19AM I'd just like to add in something which at the moment seems to be my achilles heel when it comes to dieting, interestingly enough I even saw the little fuckers in Danielle Wests blog. Mornflake chocolate squares !!!!!!!!! I didn't think they were popular at all as I get 'em from Netto and haven't seen them in the larger supermarkets. They are like little pieces of heaven. I plan to eat a shitload of them when I decide to have a cheat day though ( got 3 boxes in ready ) I can hear them beckoning me at this minute but have no fear...their chants fall on deaf ears...for now :-(

I generally drink around 6 glasses of water and as far as supps go I take 5g vit c, echenacea, glutamine, creatine ee ( when I remember ) and glucosamine.

Changes a little but generally sticking to that pattern. Possibly not an ideal diet and now I see from looking at it probably too low calorie for my training ( Should really work out the calories but I can't be arsed at the mo, will defo do it at some point, was thinking today should I be concerned about the amount of oily fish ? hmmmmm ) I'm open to any suggestions on improving it anyway. I'm shit at cooking and just grabbed a few healthy things from morrisons the other day.

On the days I have trained ( my mum is a star and minds the little terror so I can toddle off and train ) I usually have more carbs earlier in the day / pw out. I have felt GREAT since switching from crisps for breakfast, as many chocolate bars as humanly possible during the day, takeaways every single night with 2 cans of dr. pepper afterwards ( as Adele my gf needed to put on as much weight as possible before she went in for chemotherapy ) It was fucking nigh on impossible for me to watch someone else eat a chinese without giving in. See how I used the word WAS. I am now in control of that little fucking horrible demonic voice that says ' Goooo oooooon Jamie lad, get them lovely sugary carbs into ya, it wont make a blind bit of difference to ya body or even ya training, stop being paranoid '. The first week was BRUTAL but now I reckon I have the willpower to avoid eating anything shitty.

Soooo.. onto the training plan for my upcoming thai bout. The sad truth is I haven't even got a plan. The gym has been shut for the past few weeks as thai coaches are away in thailand and I'm struggling for training partners due to the shit hours I have got to work with. One good thing is I work in a gym and can go whenever I please even if its closed. I decided I'd first focus on my strength as I'm a fucking girl when it comes to the iron and at the moment I have the cardio of a pensioner with a severe bout of pneumonia so it's pretty much been strength - 4 x 4 on compounds ( will switch to more speed strength stuff as I get closer to fight time ) some form of hiit either sprint intervals, tabatas etc a lot of stretching ( My flexibility is borderline rigor-mortis...just ask Andy Ogle ) and some padwork from whoever is working in the gym at the time that can remotely hold them. This usually ends with me getting frustrated at the usual noob pad holder mistakes like pulling them back when you hit them causing you to hyper-extend your elbow, chest level hooks, turning too far away from round kicks ensuring you smash your instep off the pad with almost every shot etc etc...and usually end up hitting the heavy bag for rounds.

I managed to get hold of a decent partner who can actually hold pads last week but he got injured with a fractured eye socket so may be out for a while :-(

Not a great way to train for your first thai fight but come monday I will be back training at the proper thai gym and hopefully getting my stand up a little sharper.

I guess I should end my first post with a pic of a hot bird like most of the other guys do but I can't be arsed and if my girlfriend happened to come across this blog she would castrate me without blinking. Before I go I have to mention how inadequate I feel writing this blog as almost everyone else doing these blogs are far better fighters and about 1,000 x more intelligent than me ( apart from Mike Leng as he is obviously borderline retarded ). So if I come across as a bit ignorant, mind numbingly boring and thick as fuck....it's cos I am. I really should read more books because like shang tsung said on mortal kombat 3.  Knowledge is power !! I guess I'm headed in the right direction though as I havent played on my 360 for aaages, since my son was born really. Pretty sure playing that for hours on end all these years didn't help one bit. Anyway thats enough for now. I will update my sparkly new blog with any productive training I get in, diet revelations etc over the next week or so.

Ciao !!!!
