The Absolute Combat team were back in Edinburgh this past weekend for the 3rd instalment of their very successful MMA event titled “Evolution”.

First fight up was a semi pro fight between Shaun Edmondson (Urban Disturbance) and Darren Gunnell (Dual Samurai).  Gunnell starts with an early takedown but Edmondson manages to stay focused and attempts a Kimura but Gunnell slips out of it only to find himself in a very tight triangle which he is forced to tapout to.

Next up was Elliot Diaz vs Andrew Glenn in the second semi-pro fight of the evening. Glenn gets an early takedown but Diaz manages to get back to his feet only to have Glenn take him back down again and moves into side control. Diaz turns him and gets into the mount position. Both fighters move for position on the ground. Diaz wants this fight standing so gets up and invites his opponent to stand and trade with him. The ref stands him up and Glenn...
