Alexandre "Xandinho" Izidro Relinquishes The CWFC Lightweight World Title

It is with great regret that Cage Warriors can confirm their long time Lightweight World Champion Alexandre "Xandinho" Izidro has been forced out of his forthcoming Title defence due to injury. Izidro was due to defend his Lightweight Title at Cage Warriors: 'Right to Fight' against the Bellator FC veteran Greg “The Hitman” Loughran (21-13-0) on May 22nd.
However after a series of talks both Cage Warriors and Izidro's management team have come to an agreement where the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt will step down and relinquish his Title to allow the Northern Irishman to face the dangerous Danish striker Kenneth Rosfort (13-2-0) for the now vacant Title. In return for this magnanimous gesture, the Brazilian submission specialist will get first crack at the winner of this exciting Title bout on the next CWFC show later this year.
With a CWFC record of of 5-1, Alexandre "Xandinho" Izidro made his debut inside the CWFC cage in April 2005 and wasted no time in defeating...
