Speculation has raged that UFC veteran Neil 'Goliath' Grove
(8-2) will take Martin Thompson's place in fighting the undefeated
Karlos Vemola (7-0) on 27th February. However, upon speaking to MMA Hit
Pit, Neil refuted these rumours.
"The man is desperate," said Grove. "I will fight him, just not
yet. I'm training to be ready to fight on 22nd March in Japan.
"If that doesn't happen," 'Goliath continued, "I am on my way to
South Africa for a wedding. When I get back, the best offer money wise
will attract me."
Grove concluded by saying, "To be honest, I would rather fight Rob
Broughton. At least he's had fights with fighters worth mentioning."
